Greece — Cyber Threat Profile
Greece has officially launched its National Cybersecurity Strategy 2026–2030, marking its transition into a "mature" planning phase. Overseen by the National Cybersecurity Authority (EADA), the strategy focuses on NIS2 compliance, with administrative fines reaching up to €10 million for non-compliant essential entities. Key priorities include the National Action Plan on Cybersecurity Education and the creation of a National Register of Cybersecurity Researchers. Greece is also hardening its maritime and energy sectors against AI-driven threats.
