Uzbekistan faces a rapidly escalating threat landscape. Cybercrime increased by over 6,700% between 2019 and 2024, with 44.4% of all reported crimes now cyber-related. Over 12 million cyberattack attempts were recorded in 2024, rising to over 107 million threats blocked in 2025 following major infrastructure investment. In January 2026, three government information systems were breached in a sophisticated four-day attack, exposing approximately 60,000 data records.
