Senegal's National Cybersecurity Strategy, SNC2022, established a national cybersecurity structure tasked with implementing the framework and hosting a CERT/CSIRT unit with defined incident response functions. In June 2024, financial sector exposure was confirmed when client and credit card data from Senegalese bank Cosna Afrique Bank was advertised on a dark web forum.
