Fiji — Cyber Threat Profile

In February 2026, Fiji endorsed its National Cybersecurity and Resilience Strategy (2026–2031). This comprehensive plan focuses on protecting the nation's critical infrastructure, including subsea cables and energy grids, while fostering "digitally safe" local communities. As a regional hub, Fiji is leading the Pacific Islands in implementing harmonized cybercrime legislation and establishing a robust incident response team (Fiji-CERT).
