Congo — Cyber Threat Profile

In 2019 the Republic of Congo launched its National Digital Strategy 2025 with pillars for e-government and e-commerce. It established a National Agency for Computer Systems Security (ANSSI) and enacted cyber laws covering data protection, cybersecurity, and cybercrime. The strategy envisions a national CERT under its digital trust agenda. Congo's framework follows ECCAS regional models and draws on EU/Budapest Convention templates. Priorities include securing government platforms and telecom networks from fraud and cyberattacks while expanding international cooperation, including partnerships with France.
