Chile's cybersecurity framework is anchored in its 2023–2028 National Cybersecurity Policy. The Interior Ministry strengthened the national CSIRT and is expanding sectoral CERTs across energy, transport, and finance. A 2020 cybersecurity law formalized national governance structures. Strategic priorities include threat intelligence sharing, workforce development, and resilience of essential digital services. Chile aligns with OECD and EU regulatory standards and actively participates in global cyber forums. Emerging technology security, including IoT and AI risk governance, is an increasing national focus area.
